Soccer Game Preview: Brown vs. Louisville Collegiate

Brown is preparing for their first district matchup of the season on Saturday. They will be playing in front of their home fans against the Louisville Collegiate Amazons & Titans at 5:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Saturday.

Brown took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Highlands Latin with a sharp 6-2 win. The result was nothing new for Brown, who have now won four matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Louisville Collegiate kept a clean sheet against Whitefield Academy on Thursday. They blew past the Wildcats 4-0. Louisville Collegiate haven't had any issues with Whitefield Academy recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Brown's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Louisville Collegiate, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Brown took their victory against Louisville Collegiate in their previous meeting back in August of 2024 by a conclusive 6-1 score. Do the Bears have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Amazons & Titans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
