After a string of four wins, Ouachita's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They came up short against the Bismarck Lions, falling 14-2. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Ouachita saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mylee Crow, who scored a run while going 2-for-2. Gabby Hixon also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.

Ouachita's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Bismarck, the win also got them back to even at 4-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ouachita will face off against Junction City at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bismarck will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Smackover at 5:00 p.m. on March 31st.
