Soccer Recap: Colfax Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Center, Colfax was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Golden Sierra Grizzlies a 6-0 shutout. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Falcons considering their one-goal performance the contest before.

They hit Golden Sierra with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Everett Sutherland (2), Zach Green (2), Caleb Diederichs, and Mac Kistner.

The victory got Colfax back to even at 2-2. As for Golden Sierra, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Destiny Christian Academy the next time they take the pitch. Colfax will head out to face Destiny Christian Academy at 10:20 a.m. on Friday, while Golden Sierra will play them later in the day, at 8:00 a.m.
