Baseball Recap: Creekside Knights vs. St. Joseph Academy Flashes

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Creekside and St. Joseph Academy meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Wednesday. Creekside came out on top against St. Joseph Academy by a score of 8-5. This was payback for the Knights, who suffered a 4-3 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Nicholas Romeu looked comfortable as he tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits.

On the hitting side, Connor Balazic was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Zack Jackson, who went 3-for-5 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.
