Volleyball Recap: Stockton Tigers vs. Sarcoxie Bears
After losing to Sarcoxie the last time they met, Stockton decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Stockton Tigers skirted past the Sarcoxie Bears 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.
Stockton took Sarcoxie into a fifth set where they got it done with a ten-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-23, 24-26, 24-26, 15-5.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Stockton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Morgan Nikodim, who had 18 digs.
Stockton was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 16 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September of 2023.
Stockton's record is now 5-13-3. As for Sarcoxie, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 12-12.
Stockton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Conway on the 12th. Sarcoxie has also already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against El Dorado Springs on the 12th.
