Soccer Game Preview: Normal West vs. Lockport

The Normal West Wildcats will take on the Lockport Porters in a tournament on Thursday.

Normal West is headed into the match having not lost since April 14 and will look to keep things rolling. They and Mattoon finished up their game with a 0-0 draw on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Lockport entered their tilt with Sandburg on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 7-0 win. The result was nothing new for Lockport, who have now won eight contests by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Sandburg with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ava Kozak (3), Yuridia Hernandez (2), Krista Zuromskas, and Tiffany Giannese.

Normal West's draw gives them a new season record of 9-3-3. As for Lockport, their victory bumped their record up to 12-3.
