Football Recap: Southeastern Piles Up the Points Against West End + How To Watch

Southeastern had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.8 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the West End Patriots 42-0. Considering the Mustangs have won four contests by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

John David Butts had a dynamite game, rushing for 181 yards and one score on only 15 carries.

David Butts was just one part of a punishing run game: Southeastern was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 227 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Southeastern's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for West End, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8.

Looking ahead, Southeastern will welcome Oakman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. West End does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
