Volleyball Recap: Collinsville Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Collinsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the S & S Consolidated Rams. The Pirates were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rams apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Collinsville actually scored more points across those five sets (96-94), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 11-25, 25-14, 17-25, 16-14.

Collinsville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for S & S Consolidated, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.

Looking ahead, Collinsville will face off against Perrin-Whitt at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for S & S Consolidated, they will be taking part in a tournament against Southwest at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday.
