Volleyball Recap: Grenada Takes a Loss

Grenada lost against Lake Cormorant last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Chargers lost 3-0 to Lake Cormorant.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-9, 25-17.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lake Cormorant to victory, but perhaps none more so than Emily Huerta, who had nine digs. McKenzie Morris also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Grenada now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Lake Cormorant, they pushed their record up to 10-2 with the victory, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Grenada will square off against Center Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lake Cormorant, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against South Panola on the 27th.
