Baseball Recap: Rogue River Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Rogue River's offense. They came up short against the North Valley Knights on Tuesday, falling 17-0. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Chieftains' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

The loss snapped Rogue River's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-13 record. As for North Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

While Rogue River had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
