Basketball Game Preview: Red Hook Raiders vs. New Paltz Huguenots

Red Hook is 2-8 against New Paltz since February of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Red Hook Raiders are taking a road trip to face off against the New Paltz Huguenots at 6:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Friday, Red Hook earned a 71-61 win over Spackenkill.

Meanwhile, New Paltz beat Beacon 73-66 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Huguenots.

New Paltz's victory was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0. As for Red Hook, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Red Hook came up short against New Paltz in their previous meeting back in February, falling 58-50. Can Red Hook avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
