Soccer Game Preview: Rockford Auburn vs. Harlem

Rockford Auburn is preparing for their first conference matchup of the season on Thursday. They will venture away from home to take on the Harlem Huskies at 6:30 p.m. Rockford Auburn's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

On Tuesday, Rockford Auburn came up short against Rockford Christian and fell 3-1.

The Knights' goal came courtesy of Camila Da Silva, which was the first she's scored this season.

Meanwhile, Harlem came up short against Elgin on Saturday, falling 4-1. The loss put an end to Harlem's undefeated start to the season.

Rockford Auburn's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Harlem, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Rockford Auburn might still be hurting after the 8-0 defeat they got from Harlem in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. Can the Knights avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
