Silsbee is a perfect 10-0 against West Orange-Stark since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Tigers will host the Mustangs at 6:30 p.m. The timing is sure in Silsbee's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while West Orange-Stark has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.

Silsbee came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 10-1 to Little Cypress-Mauriceville. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Tigers have suffered since February 18th.

Meanwhile, West Orange-Stark came up short against Lumberton on Tuesday, falling 21-10. Even if the Mustangs couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Sha'Lynn Jones and Soleil Smith stepped up to the plate in a big way. Jones scored two runs while going 2-for-4, while Smith scored two runs while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Latessa Turner, who scored a run while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.

West Orange-Stark now has a losing record of 12-13-2. As for Silsbee, their loss dropped their record down to 14-10.

Everything went Silsbee's way against West Orange-Stark when the teams last played back in March, as Silsbee made off with a 16-0 victory. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Mustangs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
