Volleyball Recap: Desert Mountain Gets the Win

Desert Mountain won the last time they faced St. Paul and things went their way on Saturday too. The Wolves came out on top against the Buckaroos by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolves.

Among those leading the charge was Ayana Conklin, who had seven aces and four digs. Those seven aces gave her a new career-high.

Conklin wasn't the only good servers: Desert Mountain was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. The Wolves are 5-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Desert Mountain's victory bumped their record up to 8-14. As for St. Paul, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-5 record this season.
