Basketball Game Preview: Yakama Nation Tribal Eagles vs. Riverside Christian Crusaders

The Yakama Nation Tribal Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the Riverside Christian Crusaders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Riverside Christian took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Yakama Nation Tribal, who comes in off a win.

Last Tuesday, Yakama Nation Tribal didn't have too much trouble with Walla Walla Valley Academy as they won 71-54.

Meanwhile, Riverside Christian came up short against Sunnyside Christian on Tuesday and fell 56-46. The Crusaders haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

Yakama Nation Tribal will need focus on slowing down Jess Bowden, one of several Riverside Christian players who made an impact when they last played. He went 6 of 11 en route to 15 points. Micah Morgan was another key player, putting up 15 points.

Yakama Nation Tribal's victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-12. As for Riverside Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8.

Yakama Nation Tribal came up short against Riverside Christian when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 67-57. Can Yakama Nation Tribal avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
