Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Columbus). They won by a goal and slipped past the Grundy Center Spartans 3-2. This was a revenge game for Columbus: when they faced off against Grundy Center back in April, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

Columbus' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-12. As for Grundy Center, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-7-2.
