Baseball Recap: Ignacio Takes a Loss

After flying high against Dolores last Tuesday, Ignacio came back down to earth. The Bobcats lost 17-4 to the Monte Vista Pirates on Friday. The Bobcats haven't had much luck with the Pirates recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Ignacio saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cole W, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Ignacio's record is now 1-1. As for Monte Vista, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Pirates beat Ignacio by a score of 14-2 later that day.
