HCYA will venture away from home to square off against the Lutheran South Academy Pioneers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. HCYA is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.1 runs per game this season.

On Thursday, HCYA didn't have quite enough to beat St. John's and fell 10-9. HCYA has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kiran Kyham led a balanced group of hitters, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Yanaia Scott was another key player, going 3-for-5 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Meanwhile, Lutheran South Academy came tearing into Wednesday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Eagles 16-3. Considering the Pioneers have won ten contests by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Lutheran South Academy pushed their record up to 11-8 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for HCYA, their defeat dropped their record down to 22-8-4.

HCYA took their win against Lutheran South Academy when the teams last played back in February by a conclusive 9-1 score. Will HCYA repeat their success, or does Lutheran South Academy has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
