After flying high against the Georgia Christian Generals last Friday, The Rocky Bayou Christian Knights came back down to earth. The contest between Rocky Bayou Christian and Maclay wasn't particularly close, with Rocky Bayou Christian falling 49-34. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Rocky Bayou Christian in their matchups with Maclay: they've now lost three in a row.

It was another big night for George Grant, who rushed for 205 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 12.1 yards per carry, and also threw for 259 yards and three touchdowns. Nash Beshears was another key contributor, picking up 109 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Rocky Bayou Christian has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Maclay, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.
