Volleyball Recap: Otto-Eldred Terrors vs. Keystone Panthers
Otto-Eldred and Keystone squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Otto-Eldred had to settle for second. They came up short against the Keystone Panthers, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Terrors of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August.
While Otto-Eldred had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-23, 25-19.
Despite the defeat, Otto-Eldred saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Bailee Olmstead had 12 digs. Olmstead has been hot , having posted 12 or more digs the last five times she's played.
Otto-Eldred's loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 20-6. As for Keystone, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.
