Basketball Recap: Beaverhead County Picks Up 14th Consecutive Win

Beaverhead County came tearing into Saturday's matchup with 13 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.2 points), and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 70-20 victory over the Stevensville Yellowjackets. The Beavers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 25 points or more this season.

Kyler Engellant continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, on his way to 14 points and seven rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 46% in the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Carter Curnow, who posted eight points and ten boards.

Beaverhead County pushed their record up to 16-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30.8 points. As for Stevensville, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.

Coming up, Beaverhead County will square off against Butte Central Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Stevensville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
