 Carlisle had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Everything went their way against the Franklin Wildcats on Wednesday as the Carlisle Indians made off with  a  10-3 victory. That's more bragging rights for Carlisle, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
  Kyleigh Wells and  Alaina Eldridge did most of the damage at the plate:  Wells  scored three  runs while going 1-for-2, while  Eldridge  scored a  run while going 2-for-4.  Karrigan Bowman was another key contributor,  going 2-for-3 with  an  RBI.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carlisle will  challenge Edgewood at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Franklin, they will head out on the road to  take on  Badin at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday.
