Football Recap: Orangewood Christian Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for Orangewood Christian's offense. They were beaten by the Lake Highland Prep Highlanders 49-0 on Friday. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Highlanders recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Tre Roach threw for 84 yards on nine of 19 attempts. Grayson Hilinski was his top target, picking up 44 receiving yards. On the ground, Jack Benson rushed for 50 yards.

Leading Lake Highland Prep to victory were Eddie Bohne and Talan Henderson. Bohne gained 154 total yards and two touchdowns, while Henderson rushed for 88 yards and a pair of TDs. Henderson also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making three total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defending two passes.

Orangewood Christian now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Lake Highland Prep, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Orangewood Christian has already played their next contest, a 49-13 loss against Seffner Christian on the 19th. As for Lake Highland Prep, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 42-19 victory against Cornerstone Charter Academy on the 19th.
