Basketball Recap: Snyder Comes Up Short

Snyder was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 68-34 loss at the hands of the Hereford Whitefaces. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 62-35 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Snyder lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jacob James, who posted 12 points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Andres Martinez, who had six points.

Snyder's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Hereford, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-11.

Snyder didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 60-43 loss against Caprock on the 28th. As for Hereford, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 67-59 victory against Sweetwater on the 28th.
