St. Francis waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the North Monterey County Condors. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

St. Francis was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 19-25, 20-25, 25-19, 15-9.

St. Francis' record now sits at 12-3. As for North Monterey County, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-10.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, St. Francis and Pacific Collegiate will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Sharks are facing the Pumas at the right time seeing as the Pumas are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for North Monterey County, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Marina at 6:00 p.m.
