Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Loss Ends Miles' Winning Streak

It was a good run, but Miles unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Ballinger Bearcats by a score of 39-37. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 36-33 back in December of 2024.

Miles' loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-8. As for Ballinger, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-8.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Winters the next time they take the court. Ballinger will host Winters at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while Miles will head out to face them at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
