Soccer Game Preview: Encinal vs. Arroyo

Encinal is 0-9-1 against Arroyo since January of 2016 but things could change on Wednesday. The Jets will host the Dons at 6:30 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Encinal fell victim to Alameda and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They came up short against the Hornets, falling 5-0.

Meanwhile, neither Arroyo nor Tennyson could gain the upper hand on Friday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

With that draw, Arroyo's record moves to 6-5-4. As for Encinal, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

Encinal might still be hurting after the 6-2 loss they got from Arroyo when the teams last played back in February of 2025. Can the Jets avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
