They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 17-16 win over the Culver Academies Eagles on Tuesday. With that victory, the Pilgrims/Rockies brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.
Plymouth got a massive performance out of Preston Wolfe, who got on base in three of his six plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most RBI Wolfe has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Hall, who went 3-for-5 with three RBI and two doubles.
Plymouth always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .532. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
