Baseball Recap: Calhoun County Comes Up Short

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Calhoun County was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They lost 13-1 to the Horse Creek Academy Stallions. The matchup marked the Saints' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Calhoun County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Horse Creek Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Horse Creek Academy will venture away from home to take on Batesburg-Leesville at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
