Northwest Guilford barely beat East Forsyth the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Vikings blew past the Eagles 5-1 on Wednesday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Northwest Guilford's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

They hit East Forsyth with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Chris Long (3), Walter Burnham, and Sebastain Celis.

Northwest Guilford's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-6-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for East Forsyth, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13-1 record this season.
