Softball Recap: Chadwick Comes Up Short

Chadwick lost against Mayfield on April 9th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Dolphins fell just short of the Cubs by a score of 4-2. The Dolphins' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Chadwick saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mia Cabrera, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Chadwick's record now sits at 3-9. As for Mayfield, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 8-9-2 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chadwick will face off against Providence at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Dolphins' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Pioneers have averaged an impressive 10.1 runs per game this season. As for Mayfield, they will square off against Westridge at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
