Seminole is 9-1 against Lyman since January of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Seminole Seminoles just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Lyman Greyhounds at 7:00 p.m. Seminole will be strutting in after a victory while Lyman will be coming in after a loss.

On Thursday, Seminole was able to grind out a solid win over DeLand, taking the game 55-42. That's two games straight that the Seminoles have won by exactly 13 points.

Meanwhile, Lyman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against Evans, falling 55-11.

Lyman used a three-pronged attack on offense: Olivia Visvalingam, Samara Oldham, and Madison Armstrong posted three points each.

The victory made it two in a row for Seminole and bumps their season record up to 11-5. As for Lyman, their loss dropped their record down to 1-13.

Everything came up roses for Seminole against Lyman when the teams last played back in December of 2023, as the squad secured a 57-21 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Seminole since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
