Softball Recap: Delphi Community Wins Going Away Against Seeger

Delphi Community barely beat Seeger the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Oracles blew past the Patriots 9-2 on Monday. The Oracles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by seven runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Abie Pearson, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. Sami Leopard was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Delphi Community always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .525. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Seeger only posted an OBP of .333.

Delphi Community now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Seeger, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-18 record this season.

Delphi Community will challenge North Montgomery at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Oracles are facing the Chargin' Chargers at the right time seeing as the Chargin' Chargers are stuck on a four-game losing streak. Seeger does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
