Softball Recap: Cordova Takes a Loss

Cordova fell victim to Arlington and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 15-0 to the Arlington Tigers. That's two games in a row now that the Wolves have lost by exactly 15 runs.

This is the second loss in a row for Cordova and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Arlington, their victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cordova will challenge Houston at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Arlington, they will square off against Lewisburg at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Lewisburg is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.8 runs per game this season.
