Midland Park's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Fleming, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI. That's the most RBI Fleming has posted since back in April. Conor Shortway was another, going 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Midland Park pushed their record up to 22-8-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Middlesex, their win bumped their record up to 19-5.
