Football Game Preview: Marion vs. Richlands

If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Richlands. They will be playing at home against Marion at at 7:00 PM on Friday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous games.

You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Richlands' strategy against Tazewell last Friday. Richlands put the hurt on Tazewell with a sharp 34-0 victory. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Richlands had established a 27-0 advantage.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Marion beat Gate City 44-39 last Friday. The success made it back-to-back wins for Marion.
