While losing is never fun, Nolan Catholic can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 423rd, while the Lions are ranked 101st).
Meanwhile, Bishop Lynch beat the Lions 59-51 on Friday.
Nolan Catholic has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 15-16 record this season. As for Bishop Lynch, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 16-12 record this season.
Nolan Catholic was dealt a bruising 69-38 loss at the hands of the Friars when the teams last played back in January. Can Nolan Catholic avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
