Basketball Recap: Arlington Comes Up Short

Arlington lost against Rancho Verde back in February of 2018 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Arlington Lions fell 71-64 to the Rancho Verde Mustangs. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 388th, while the Mustangs are ranked 68th).

Arlington's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Rancho Verde, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

Arlington will challenge Valley View at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Arlington is facing Valley View at the right time seeing as Valley View is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Rancho Verde, they will face off against Rancho Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
