Basketball Game Preview: Parchment Panthers vs. Schoolcraft Eagles

Parchment hasn't had much luck against Schoolcraft recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Panthers will be home for the holidays to greet the Eagles at 6:00 p.m.

Parchment came into this matchup off a tough 40-point loss on Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Portage Northern by a score of 47-45 on Tuesday. While the Panthers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Huskies 12-2 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, Schoolcraft beat Hackett Catholic Prep 38-31 on Friday.

Parchment now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Schoolcraft, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Parchment came up short against Schoolcraft when the teams last played back in February, falling 35-24. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
