Softball Recap: Madison Comes Up Short

The Madison Blue Streaks came up short against the Gilmour Academy Lancers on Tuesday, falling 9-1. The Blue Streaks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Madison saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zoey Brown, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Madison's loss dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Gilmour Academy, their victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Madison will take on Ursuline at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Gilmour Academy, they will square off against Garrett Morgan at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
