Baseball Recap: Morristown-Hamblen West Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Morristown-Hamblen West's offense. They lost 11-0 to the Jefferson County Patriots on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Trojans have suffered since March 13th.

Morristown-Hamblen West's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Jefferson County, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.

Morristown-Hamblen West will be taking part in a tournament against White House-Heritage at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Jefferson County, they will square off against A.C. Reynolds at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
