Seiling scored a stunning upset when it knocked off Covington-Douglas, 61-14. At the time, the Wildcats were ranked 16th in the state, while the Wildcats were 30th.

The biggest upset of the week belonged to Seiling, who took down 16th ranked Covington-Douglas, 61-14.

Pond Creek-Hunter's dynamic duo of Josh Irvin and Brady Krittenbrink proved tough for Laverne to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Irvin threw for 182 yards and three touchdowns and Krittenbrink had 72 yards receiving. Trenton Grimes helped Pond Creek-Hunter's passing attack out by catching seven balls for 59 yards.

Gage Smith was the most productive running back in B District 1 (8 Man) this week. In 13 carries, he ran for 131 yards as the Wildcats lost to the Tigers. Hunter Carl also contributed to the rushing game with 44 yards on the ground.

Thanks to the talents of Irvin and Krittenbrink Pond Creek-Hunter has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Irvin leads the league in passing with 1029 yards, while Krittenbrink has rushed for 1800 yards this season. Covington-Douglas' Jonah Bigbey leads the league in receiving yards with 424 on 19 catches.

The Wildcats' Smith rumbled for the longest rushing play in the league this season in his game against Andy Claborn's team last week.
