Football Recap: Cate Takes a Loss

After soaring to 48 points the game before, Cate was a bit more limited in their game on Saturday. They were beaten by the Faith Baptist Contenders 41-6. The Rams were not able to make up for their defeat to the Contenders from their previous meeting back in October of 2022.

Cate now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Faith Baptist, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Cate will head out to challenge Thacher at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Toads will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last. As for Faith Baptist, they will welcome Lancaster Baptist at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
