Topeka extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 3-0 in the process. They put the hurt on the Emporia Spartans with a sharp 11-1 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-1 on Tuesday.

As for Emporia, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season. They just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

For Emporia's part, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chloe Steele, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Topeka does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Emporia, they will welcome West at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
