Soccer Recap: Seymour Comes Up Short

Seymour's game on Monday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 2-0 to the Batesville Bulldogs. Seymour haven't had much luck with Batesville recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Seymour's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Batesville, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Seymour is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will face off against Jeffersonville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Batesville, they will challenge Connersville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Connersville's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
