Arkansas Christian Academy dropped down to 6-3 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They were beaten by the Destiny Christian Wildcats 37-6. The Knights were red-hot offensively heading into the contest (they scored no less than 31 points in the three games prior), but the Wildcats' defense proved too tough.

As for Destiny Christian, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-2. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 47.5 points over those games.

Destiny Christian was led to victory by Quincy Jones and Amaurie Rusler. Jones rushed for 130 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries, while Rusler rushed for 78 yards and a pair of TDs. Jones' longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Destiny Christian beat Arkansas Christian Academy by a score of 50-14 on Friday.
