It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Harrah ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-6 victory over the Tecumseh Savages. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Savages: they've now won six in a row.

The team relied heavily on Tucker MCguire, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and three runs. Another player making a difference was Cort Wheeler, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Harrah's victory bumped their record up to 16-12. As for Tecumseh, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-19.

Harrah will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Savages: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
