Soccer Recap: Braxton County vs. Roane County
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Braxton County). They blew past the Roane County Raiders 10-0 on Tuesday. It was an even better day for Zack McQuain as he scored three goals for his team.
Braxton County's victory bumped their record up to 10-3-3. As for Roane County, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
Braxton County will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Tyler at 6:00 p.m. Tyler knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Braxton County likes a good challenge. As for Roane County, they and Midland Trail are set to duel on Thursday.
