Preview: Austin Mustangs vs. Houston Math Science & Tech Tigers
The Austin Mustangs will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Houston Math Science & Tech Tigers at 6:30 p.m. Austin will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive.
Austin's and Sharpstown's game on Saturday was close at halftime, but Austin turned on the heat in the second half with 25 points. Austin put the hurt on Sharpstown with a sharp 34-13 win. The result was nothing new for Austin, who have now won three games by 21 points or more so far this season.
Austin found their leader in underclassman Ashtian Glass, who scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Destiney Armstrong, who scored 6 points.
Meanwhile, Houston Math Science & Tech didn't have too much trouble with Brazos on the road on Tuesday as they won 30-11. The win made it back-to-back wins for Houston Math Science & Tech.
The losses dropped Austin to 6-4 and Sharpstown to 0-7.
