Basketball Game Preview: Newton Railroaders vs. South Cougars + How To Watch

Newton hasn't had much luck against South recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Railroaders will be home for the holidays to greet the Cougars at 7:30 p.m. Newton has given up an average of 61.4 points per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Newton took a blow against Eisenhower, falling 73-45.

Meanwhile, South put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 59-55 W against Salina Central. Surprisingly, this marked the Cougars' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

South's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Newton, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.
